Every August, the Worth County Development Authority gives out “Back-to-School Gift Cards” to K-12 students with parents living in Worth County. In the past, gift cards have been valued up to $75 per student.
At least 1 parent of each student must live in Worth County. Parents must have joint legal custody. Parents must be ready to prove residency prior to receiving their gift cards.
In order to receive a gift card, parents must bring their receipts back from the prior year. Reciepts musts show that all money was spent on qualifying purchases for their school aged children. Qualifying purchases include: schools supplies, clothes and gym shoes.
Gift Cards will be available each year in August. Gift Cards must be picked up from the WCDA office at: 91 8th Street North, in Northwood. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions regarding the Back-to-School Gift Cards Program.
